Kakanj, 13.5.2017.

Ecological action of cleaning the park in front of the Youth Center and area up to the primary school “Hamdija Kreševljaković” Kakanj was implemented within the broader action titled “Let´s clean Kakanj in one day” that was organized by Kakanj Municipality. A group of children, from the Children´s creative center that is run by NGO “Alternative” Kakanj, took part in the action. The most collected items were those made of paper and PVC as well as glasses and bottles. Around ten bags of such waste were collected from a relatively small area, which speaks enough about our culture of living and ecological awareness. Participants expressed belief that the actions such as this would influence awareness of other people, at least to such an extent that in the future each item would be disposed of in designated locations instead of on green areas.
