	International Voluntarism Day
.	Third significant activity within „16 days of activism for elimination of violence against women“ campaign was organized by Forum of women of SDP Kakanj and NGO „Alternative“ Kakanj on d December 2009.
	The activity itself was a workshop on voluntarism in which the women-participants created drafts of criteria and regulations for awarding most successful volunteers at local level. They intend to lobby for support by relevant municipal bodies so that most successful volunteers, individuals and organizations, can be awarded as soon as next year. Objective is to encourage individuals to give voluntary contribution to economic and social development of the community. Draft of the document (criteria and regulations) and plan of the award procedure including public call, selection of logo and design of certificates will be prepared by a work group and submitted to municipal mayor for further processing.
