NON-GOVERNMENTAL ORGANISATION ALTERNATIVE KAKANJ

	American students-volunteers in visit to Kakanj Cement
.	ISV program is supported among others by Kakanj Cement Heidelberg Group. This was an additional reason to visit the company during its Open Day manifestation.
	Our host was Izudin Neimarlija, technical director of the company. We also talked to Branislav Muidža, general director. We attended some of the eventful program and enjoyed Bosnian „ćevapčići“. Prior to Kakanj Cement we went to the Franciscan monastery in Kraljeva Sutjeska, which is among the oldest institutions continuously active in BiH. Thanks to its long history, the monastery keeps invaluable historic, cultural and artistic treasure. Finally, the volunteers got opportunity to contact their families using public telephones and Internet in NGO „Alternative“ office. They tasted traditional Bosnian cakes: baklava, tufahija and hormašica. The day ended with dinner in Castello, local pizza restaurant, and visit to V.I.P., local café bar.
